ADMISSIONS AND TUITION INFORMATION

(For school year September 2015 to June 2016)

Ability School provides an effective education to children from Pre K to 8th Grade. It welcomes students of all races, color and religion.

The school runs from September through June. School hours are from 8:30 am to 4:00pm. A part-time schedule for preschool children is available.

Since students are on individualized programs, it is generally possible to enroll at any time during the year. Yearly tuition at the school is $12,000.00. A 5% discount is given when tuition for the year is paid in full at the start of the school year. Tuition payments based on the total annual tuition may also be paid monthly when necessary. There is a 10% discount given when a second child enrolls.

A materials fee of $1400.00 for the year will also be charged. This fee covers most course materials, computer and library supplies. It does not include personal school supplies such as dictionaries and special project items. There is also a yearly field trip fee of $400.00; this fee covers the cost of the field trip and transportation for these trips. Some special Field Trips may require additional fees. Special extra curricular activies, and after school care, require additional fees.

Students are responsible for bringing their own lunches and snacks. A hot lunch program is available for a fee and is coordinated monthly by the parent.

Advance Deposit: A tuition deposit of $500.00 is required to secure a place in the school. This will be credited toward the total tuition and used on the last payment of the year.

Materials Fees: The materials fee covers all classroom materials and also textbooks on the study methods when the student’s academic program requires these.

Field Trips Fee: This fee covers the cost of one trip per month and the transportation for each trip. Part time students pay this fee due to the fact that will be included on each trip. All Field Trip Fees are due by September 9th
2015.

Discounts:
There is a 5% discount for tuition if paid in full by September 1st
2015. There is also a 10% discount of tuition on siblings enrolled (These discounts do not apply to materials or field trip fees).
