summer at ability
Are you interested in providing your child with a summer filled with learning and fun? Would you like your child to experience all the pleasures of summer such as outdoor adventure, arts & crafts, field trips and nature walks yet still read, do mathematics or practice their handwriting skills?
If you answered “yes” to the above, then the Ability School Summer Program is the place for your child. Ability School offers a unique program that gives your child the opportunity to get ahead or catch up with their academics in the mornings and enjoy fun camp activities in the afternoons.
Ability School offers a summer camp for students ages 4-12. Camp runs Monday-Friday 9am-4pm. The weekly fee is $375 including most field trips* (there is a two week enrollment minimum and a 10% discount for siblings).
Older students enjoy picnicking, swimming, bowling, theatre, overnight camping, trips to museums and the beach and a variety of other activities. Younger students enjoy trips to the The Ocean Institute, art museums, the zoo and nature centers. They also enjoy sprinkler games, rainy day trips and fun arts & crafts projects.
Ability School also offers an academics-only program for children ages 10-14. The academics-only program runs Monday-Thursday from 9am-12pm and the fee is $225 per week.
Most students find that upon returning to school in September, they must review and refresh their memory due to summer break. In contrast, students attending the Ability School keep their study skills fresh all summer long and and have lots of fun at the same time!
